Norwegian Air Ambulance Helicopter
Norwegian Air Ambulance Helicopter is owned by the Norwegian Air Ambulance Foundation, and has since 1st June 2018 operated all thirteen Norwegian medical helicopter bases, as well as four in Denmark.
Since 1988, the air ambulance service has been organized and financed by the state through the company Air Ambulance Services of Norway RHF, which is owned by the four regional health trusts. The air ambulance service provides specialized emergency medicine and is an integral part of the public emergency medical emergency services.
